About

Empty Frames Initiative is inspired and driven by the heart of the Father.

We believe everyone is created with a purpose.

Our goal is to empower orphaned and vulnerable youth as they transition out of state care by providing training in life skills, counseling,

community, and access to the Gospel.

About

He has shown you, O man, what is good;
And what does the LORD require of you
But to do justly, To love mercy, And to walk humbly with your God?

Micah 6:8

We are in the process of launching a short-term residential program called Overture, a space for young adults leaving state's care to receive support and community before stepping into their next chapter. In this same space, we look to provide a central location for training, research and innovation in regards to the topic of youth emancipating from state care. While this program will be, in many ways, the first of its kind, we hope to make it replicable for organizations across the US, and across the world, who are serving this population.

Now faith is the substance of things hoped for,

the evidence of things not seen.

Learn to do good; Seek justice, Rebuke the oppressor; Defend the fatherless, Plead for the widow. Isaiah 1:17

When we began telling people about Empty Frames Initiative we started by sharing this video and the challenge,

"If you believed anything was possible, where would you start?"

We hold to this philosophy and challenge people to seek the Lord's specific will in their lives. And when He reveals His will, don't be afraid to start!

Everyone is called to something.

But when Jesus heard it, He answered him, saying,

"Do not be afraid; only believe, and she will be made well."

Luke 8:50

What's in a name?

Empty Frames Initiative began as a dream to capture the joy of adoption through photography. It expanded into the idea of teaching orphaned youth photography, to instill the truth that they are valuable and their perspective is needed. It has grown into a non-profit that empowers orphans as they "age out" of state care to tell their stories, find hope in Christ and write the next chapters of their lives in confidence. Photos tell our stories and Empty Frames Initiative looks to equip a generation to fill empty frames with a life of purpose.
